Dresden Nuclear Station in Morris, IL is looking for Maintenance Electricians - Electrical Technicians to join our team in June 2023. 

Rate: $45.50

Comprehensive Benefits after 90 day probation

Start date: June 2023

IBEW Local 15 position 

Position Description: 

Repair and maintain electrical equipment such as motors, generators commutators, circuit breakers, controls and relays, switches.  Assist electrical mechanics of higher classification in the performance of their duties.  Make routine inspections of electrical equipment during outages and report conditions found. 

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or educational equvalent
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing (TECH test)
• Ability to work different shifts
• Ability to receive unescorted Nuclear access

AND one of the following: 

• Associates degree in a technical field

OR

• Two years minimum related Electrical military experience

OR

• Two years minimum experience as a journeyperson Electrician

OR

• Two years minimum of equivalent journeyperson Electrician experience in industrial employment
