Paid technical internships will last approximately 10 weeks starting June 6^th thru and August 11^th, 2023.  Interns will rotate between departments to gain an understanding of the following technical departments within the nuclear plants:

• Maintenance (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control)
• Operations 
• Radiation Protection 
• Chemistry 

Nuclear Generation plants:

• Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant, Oswego, NY
• Nine Mile Point, Oswego, NY
• Limerick Generating Station, Pottstown, PA
• Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Delta, PA
• LaSalle Generating Station, Marseilles, IL

Qualifications

We are seeking students who meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled in an Associate degree program in Operations Engineering and Technician, Electric Power Generation Technology, Energy Technology, Nuclear Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology
• Minimum GPA:  Cumulative 2.8 / Major 3.0
• A track record of outstanding academic performance
• Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
