Expected salary range of $95,400 - $106,000 per year, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401k.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Performs and/or manages activities relating to planning, designing, building, and maintaining IT services, projects, portfolios, products and processes. Expected to work under minimal supervision.

The ITSM Operations Services Analyst is a functional resource that is vital to the success of the ITSM Change Management functional area. The Analyst will have strong impacts on maintaining the reliability of Constellation IT’s production environment by ensuring appropriate Change Management steps are followed and engaging the ServiceNow Platform team as needed to maintain process/tool alignment.

  • Responsible for daily support of the Constellation IT Change Management process, ensuring process requirements are observed and Change Requests are reviewed and approved according to guidelines for each priority level
  • Collaborating with different IT team members in support of Constellation IT solutions and different project activities as assigned.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsibilities for the ITSM Operations (Change Management) Analyst includes:

  • Helps maintains the governance, policies, and direction of the ITSM Change Management core function
  • Works closely with the ITSM Operations Change Management Lead on coordinating/facilitating Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities, stakeholder review of High Risk Evaluation (HRE) presentations, Production Readiness assessments and other IT Change Management processes
  • Supports ServiceNow projects as needed to ensure ITSM process alignment and standards are maintained
  • Maintains technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function 
  • Works with the ServiceNow Platform Team to implement enhancements as needed to maintain process/tool alignment

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 2 to 5 years’ experience in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 2+ years overall experience in an IT Change Management role.
  • Previous experience with ServiceNow Change Management capabilities.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of IT and business management. 
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • General knowledge of ServiceNow system, including Change Management, Release Management, and Incident Management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Power BI reporting tools.
  • Experience in IT Architecture to include application, database, middleware, network, service hosting.
  • The following training and/or related certifications are desirable:
    • ServiceNow Fundamentals
    • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations
