Expected salary range of $97,200 to $108,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This candidate will possess the experience and skills to support Process Computer Systems within the Constellation Engineering Operational Technology Solutions (OTS) organization. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance, problem resolution and work planning related to Nuclear Station Process Computing.  This candidate will also participate in planning and instillation of new or upgraded equipment and software.  This successful candidate will possess the skills and ability to communicate with station personal, teammates and vendors.  This position is integral to strategic planning and long-term management of Station Process Computing Systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support maintenance, planning, configuration, projects, and operations.  Consult and advise leadership, project teams and station end users to provide reliable station data from Plant Process Computers (PPC). Provide technical expertise and guidance for maintaining performance and reliability of Operational Technology Solutions. (50%)
• Work closely with leadership and the OTS team to develop future improvement plans, resource requirements, and project schedules to improve service delivery and efficiency. Understand other technologies and service and their impact to the PPC. (15%)
• Serve as a primary resource in PPC daily support and deployments to operations and ensure solutions meet business requirements and established metrics. Responsible for operating and maintaining complex solutions including hands-on configuration, leading troubleshooting efforts being mindful of service metrics. (15%)
• Provide feedback and guidance to leadership and peers to risks identified during business impact analysis, site risk assessments and disaster recovery planning. (5%)
• Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within our own discipline or function. (15%)

JOB SCOPE

• Position interacts with all levels of employees, including executives, vendors, involved in performance, maintenance, review, approval, testing and communication of business plans and services.
• Position has expertise in computer technologies and system troubleshooting.
• Position has expertise and hands-on competency in platform or application area of expertise, and tools/systems associated with these functions.
• Work under minimal supervision.
• Mentors junior-level team members and others

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or related field) and 5 – 8 years' experience (IT infrastructure support, application support, disaster/recovery, etc.) or 9 – 12 years equivalent job experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and communications.
• Ability to travel domestically.
• 24/7 on-call rotational duties

• Certification in area of expertise
