This position will by Hybrid 3 days a week on site 2 days remote at either Nine Mile or FitzPatrick Nuclear Stations in Oswego, NY

Expected salary range of $141,300 to $157,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Manage projects, initiation through closeout, as assigned and within the parameters of cost, quality, schedule and objectives. Provide leadership for project team members and the Project Management process. Position generally used for projects requiring integration of multiple functional organizations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage the detailed scope, quality, performance, schedule and budget of assigned project(s) in accordance with the Exelon Management Model procedures and standard practices. Ensure proper use of project controls and perform required monthly reporting. (50%)
• Direct the Project Team and integrate all resources. (10%)
• Ensure Contract Administration on contract(s) as required, including proper closeout of projects as well as post-project critique and lessons learned (10%)
• Ensure stakeholder review and buy-in of intermediate and final project deliverables (10%)
• Provide communication to NGG and site or corporate management for assigned / proposed projects. (10%)
• Provide development, evaluation and recommendation on contracted services and materials. (5%)
• Coach and mentor other project managers and cross-functional support personnel fostering continuous improvement (5%)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree (technical or management discipline) with 5-8 years' experience in a related position or field. -OR-
• 10 years of directly applicable industry experience, 5 years of which must be in the field of management of projects
• PMP Certification (within 18 months of starting position)
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
• Project budgeting, cost tracking, and cost estimating experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's Degree in business, engineering, science, or related field
• FLS or Management experience
• Experience in plant operation and/or maintenance
• Knowledge of contract management and / or Passport supply system
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations with little direction

JOB SCOPE

• Works independently and mentors other project managers. Responsible for the pursuit of cost reductions and maximizing value on all assigned projects. Responsible for project communications and required negotiations with internal and external organizations. Directly accountable for the management of complex projects with an aggregate annual cash flow of over $3 millions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (technical or management discipline) with 8+ years' experience in a related position or field. -OR-
• 12 years of directly applicable industry experience, 6 years of which must be in the field of management of projects
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in supervision or management of projects or Grade E04 Manager
• PMP Certification (within 18 months of starting position)
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
• Project budgeting, cost tracking, and cost estimating experience

• Master's Degree in business, engineering, science, or related field
