Expected salary range of $160,704 - $178,560 Canadian, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Implements the contract management process to ensure that work is completed safely, with high quality, while adhering to job schedule and budget according to contract requirements. Responsible for management and oversight of onsite contractors. Ensures that all Exelon Power requirements such as Fitness for Duty and specific job training are met prior to the contractor starting work.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Coordinates all contractor site work activities.
- Acts as official liaison with contractor representatives.
- Coordinates the development of bid specifications with input from technical users and buyers.
- Issues change orders as appropriate.
- Understands contract requirements
- Provides feedback on contractor performance.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in engineering or business with 6+ years professional experience OR
- Associates Degree with 8+ years experience and 3+ years exempt-level experience OR
- H.S. Diploma with 10+ years experience and 5+ years exempt-level experience
- Experience with contract management and supply management
- Ability to understand power plant processes and systems
- Demonstrated experience dealing with contractors
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated self-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and situations, identify areas for improvement and determine appropriate corrective actions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MS or MBA
- PMI Certification
- Fossil Power Plant experience
