"Most veterans begin service with the dream of impacting a better tomorrow, not only for themselves, but for their loved ones, and the world. U.S. Navy Veteran Andrew W. is proud to share his impact and role in America’s transition to a clean energy future with Constellation.

My military experienced taught me to be adaptable in challenging conditions. This prepared me physically and mentally to handle shifting focuses and priorities on the fly. The military also refined my ability to challenge my crew, peers, and leaders in a respectful way. This has been a critical factor in developing my career.

There are so many similarities between Constellation and operations in a large Naval nuclear fleet. We work with the nation’s largest commercially operated nuclear fleet which provides employees with abundant support and professional opportunities.

Constellation often operates in completely deregulated markets, allowing us to focus on removing inefficiencies. With over 2,100 members of the workforce who are either current military members for veterans, Constellation understands the value of servicemembers’ skills and experiences. Veterans who come to work at Constellation will find a welcoming and supportive culture. By bringing in people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, Constellation commits to building a better tomorrow through clean and sustainable energy solutions.”

“During my time at Constellation, I was also serving in the United States Army National Guard. I am grateful that Constellation supported my desire to serve the nation while allowing me to grow in my career. Their understanding and flexibility have been invaluable to me.

Currently, I hold the position of a mechanical maintenance candidate, and I am excited to embark on the path to become a nuclear maintenance mechanic. Constellation has provided me with the support and resources to learn, grow, and thrive in my career. They have encouraged me to take on new challenges and provided me with the necessary training and development opportunities to enhance my skills.

What I love about working at Constellation is the sense of belonging and connection I feel with my colleagues. The company fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone's contributions are valued. It truly feels like a family here, and I appreciate the camaraderie and teamwork that we have.

The work I do at Constellation is fulfilling and rewarding. I am proud to be part of a company that plays a crucial role in providing clean and reliable energy to communities. Being able to contribute to such an important mission gives me a sense of purpose and pride. The work I do at Constellation is fulfilling and rewarding.
