Generation
Powered by Passion and Purpose
Together, we’re creating healthier communities and a cleaner planet.
Our employees are curious, collaborative, and continuous learners with opportunities to solve new problems every day. The Generation function of our business is composed of Nuclear and Power fleets. Facilities located throughout the U.S., along with one facility in Canada, make up our nuclear, natural gas, hydro, oil, wind, and solar generating fleets. The Nuclear fleet runs 24/7 and together with our Power fleet can generate enough electricity to power 16 million homes and businesses and 10% of all carbon-free energy on the grid in the U.S.

Innovation Coming to Life
We’re innovators purpose-built to fight climate change by combining next-generation services and technologies with the country’s lowest carbon-generating fleet. In March 2023, we launched the nation’s first demonstration scale nuclear-powered clean hydrogen production facility at our Nine Mile Point facility in Oswego, NY. That same year, we also set an industry record for blending high concentrations of hydrogen with natural gas to power a generator at our Hillabee Generating Station.
Constellation Professional Pool
The Constellation Professional Pool is a data repository of professionals – such as engineers, instructors, procedure writers, etc., who have learned, experienced, and demonstrated the values of Constellation and would like to be considered for short-term contractor opportunities that could exist in the future. By entering your information in the pool, you are enabling Constellation (and/or our contractor recruiters) to reach you more readily if an opportunity arises in line with your preferences. Opportunities are not guaranteed for pool candidates.

Brandon D. Manager Radiation Protection Programs
"I was given a promotional opportunity at Peach Bottom Clean Energy Center. I had been working at my current place for over seven years and had a huge positive experience and was worried if I would have the same experience at my new work location. My first day, my fears were put away, as I was immediately welcomed by not only my department, but introduced to the senior leadership team who were very personable and wanted to get to know me. As the months rolled along, I really felt I was part of the Peach Bottom family, as I got to work alongside amazing people and establish new friendships and partnerships. This experience is indicative of the type of work environments Constellation creates for its employees, by making them feel welcome and having their leaders create positive experiences for them."

"My career in Constellation has been focused on development and growth. I started in Nine Mile Point in mechanical design engineering after graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a mechanical nuclear engineering degree. While being the lead responsible engineer on large projects, I became interested in being a project manager in the company. I was a project manager for three years, leading multimillion-dollar projects important to the station. During that process, I became interested in taking on a maintenance supervisor role. I did so at FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant in the maintenance planning department that I led during the pandemic and was able to take those experiences and become a maintenance planning manager at FitzPatrick. After that, I most recently became the centralized design engineering manager at Nine Mile Point."
